Hi,
I am restoring an Edwardian heated towel rail which has 3 x 1" brass heater pipes that are chromed. I have cut out the central horizontal pipe as it was damaged leaving enough pipe at either end to fit a compression fitting. I want to fit chromed compression fittings on the replacement chromed pipe but do not have those bits yet. I tried a standard brass compression fitting on each of the end pieces but the chromed pipe is too big to take them. I tried a 11/4" compression fitting but it is miles too big.
How do I sort this? Can I get Chromed fittings that will take this 1"chromed brass pipe?
thanks
Don
