Chrome fitting needed!

Very few tapered fittings are available as they are only normally used on gas and radiator fittings ( with only a slight taper so not really a tapered fitting ).

You may have to buy that one and take it somewhere to have it plated.

Or a cheap solution to paint it silver. That is often not very noticeable.

If its for a shower or similar then they usually use parallel fittings. If for a rad then they are usually Ok with a parallel fitting and about 10 turns of PTFE.

Thanks Tony, Can you advise where I can get one in a non tapered fitting?

Expensive though !

Even harder to find anywhere where they stock one !

Some of the expensive places where they sell fancy towel rads might though!

Oddly I looked in the BES cat before replying but did not see that item in my 10 second search.

Probably because they put all the chrome bits on a different page?

The thing is people I am having trouble sourcing a chrome fitting with a tapered thread. A parallel thread does not suit my application
