Personally would prefer more quality and less quantity. Only watch about 5-6 channels.

I have 3 chromecasts scattered around the house and combined with a Plex server they make a very good and cheap way of streaming media about the house.

I use Serviio freeby for local servitude (transcoding on the fly !!) - Chromecast is a fresh interest with Avia doing the biz. Android phone or via Bluestacks in win 8.1...
