I bought a new laptop and router last weekend, never had a laptop before or been "wireless".
I installed the software and the router okay but didn't bother with the network security part, it seemed a bit too technical, I thought I'll have a go at that later, well that later was today and thought I'd have a go.
It gave me 2 choices WEP or WPA, I opted for WPA, went through it all okay on my desktop PC and thought its all protected now.
Went on the laptop and it said that settings on the laptop didn't match those of the network, after many hours of cursing, frustration and angst I gave up thinking that I'm just gonna have to use the laptop without security, which I didn't really relish the idea of, then it occurred to me Technical Support.
I rang the Belkin Technical Support number and within 5 mins or so Hey presto we're all nicely secure, dead impressed with them.
I just had to vent my thankfulness, sorry....
