Hello
I need to tile two walls in the bathroom. We took off the old tiles and they came off quite neatly, however when fitting the new bath, we had to channel out about 3 cms so we could sink the bath into the wall. The old bath was a narrow 650mm and the nearest size I could get was 700mm. The 700mm was taking us a bit into the door frame, hence the reason for channelling out the wall.
Anyway the short story is I have big chunks out of the lower part of the wall near top of the bath. Should I mix up some render/cement and smooth it out as much as possible before fitting the aqua panel?
Would it be a bad idea if I just put the aqua panel up and put fixings in where I could?
Sorry, I have only done little bits of tiling before. This is a small bathroom and the job was very straightforward until the walls got hacked!!
Thanks
George
