Hi all,

I have a 16amp breaker in my consumer unit and a 1.5mm 3 core SWA has been run 15 meters from this to a consumer unit outside. The consumer unit outside is a mini consumer unit and has 2 breakers in it, with a main switch.

1) What is the maximum amount of watts that can run on a 1.5mm 3 core swa

I wanted to run a 2-3kw external elector pond heater, but my calculations are telling me that this is not possibkle with this current setup, as it would be overloaded.

Please advise.

regards
