Was going to post some (unfortunately) fuzzy pics, but I seem to have mislaid them on the HDD.

I got called to a job before Easter. The customer complained of nuisance tripping of the sockets.

Have you had this problem long? No, it first went yesterday.

How long have you had this new (16th Ed) CU? Since December.

Who fitted it? My partner.

The ground floor sockets were on the incomer on a 6A breaker.

Other sockets (three readials) were on the incomer on a 40A breaker.

Another circuit breaker (32A) carried a 2.5 radial & a lighting circuit, this time on the RCD.

Another 20A CB fed a 9.5kW shower.

There was no sign of PEB's.

When asked to look into why the security lighting did not work, I discovered a standard 20A JB on the outside wall.

She was not best pleased with her beloved...

Just not the same without the pictures

Seen the 20A JB trick on outside wall to feed PIR floodlight before at a friends house, complete with lovely orange flex to finish off the job!
