Hi,
I want to move the cold water tank in the loft over to a new location.
This will mean that the tank will not be directly vertically above the hot water cylinder which is in an airing cupboard downstairs, it would end up having some of the feed pipe to the cylinder being horizontal.
Would this still work, as the pipe wouldn't be fully vertical any longer ?.

Thanks.

Yes it would still work, but you should try to have the cold feed pipe to the cylinder falling away from the storage cistern so as to avoid air locks. Raise the cistern up if possible. Make sure the new position is suitable to support the weight.
