Citadel XR2 - external siren very short

Hi - have moved into a house with a Citadel XR2 installed. There are a few issues that I am trying to solve:

1) When full set is enabled and then triggered (e.g. by not entering pin into keypad on entry), the external siren only sounds for a short period even though it is configured to sound for 1 min. I have tried other settings but it does not change from the very short (e.g. 2-3 secs). The internal sounder carries on until I enter the right code.

2) I have a program set (prog 2) which only enables the perimeter security (door sensors and vipers). If these are triggered, the external siren does not sound at all - but the internal one does.

Any ideas what is up? I'm sure this is a configuration issue but can't determine exactly what it is.

Do you know the make/model of the external siren?

Depends on what model of that bellbox ....it’s an old gardtec deltabell

Ok so this is going to be in the bell box itself? I'll try and get up there tomorrow and take a peek.
