Citroen Saxo R reg side lights not working

Ive got a R eg 1.4 citroen Saxo which has failed its mot due to the side lights not working .

At the same time the dash board lights stopped operating as well as the light warning buzzer went silent .

I think they are all related ,but am only concerned about the side lights not working .

Ive checked all the fuses and tried a replacement light stalk ,but had no joy ..

Any help would be appreciated as mot retest time is in a few days .

Sounds like you have a broken wire or multi plug problem then. To completely rule out the stalk switch, you could unplug it and short the wires at the plug. Do this by finding which one is live (it's usually the thickest one) and by using a short length of wire connect the others in turn and note the results. If the lights still don't work, you'll have to follow the wire until you find the breakage/fault. HTH.
