Citroen Synergie 2.0i Petrol starting trouble

Hi

I have a 2000 (W reg) Citroen Synergie 2.0i Petrol. It has real trouble starting on damp/cold mornings.

I've changed the plugs, plug leads, general service and even changed the distributor and Call pack (?). It still has trouble starting on cold/damp mornings. It's almost as if it won't spark.

I have tried parking it in the garage, and when I do this, there are NO problems - starts first time. I only have problems when it has been out all night.

Any ideas what it could be?

Might be worth having a look at the crank position sensor.
Sometimes cleaning it up can help.

Is this the same as the Crank Shaft Sensor as this has been mentioned before?

If so, where do I find it? I've had a good look round but can't seem to locate it....
