Having a panic on how to clad a sips garden room that has no overhang at the sides and back. Vertical cladding means counter battens, that's 2 inches, plus the cladding boards themselves.

If the roof is flush with the side or back wall, and I add battens, how do I detail the roof edges to protect the cavity?

Thanks.

Have you put the roof covering on? Really needs the roof edge extending before covering.

Missed the last two, sorry.

Context:

I thought the overhang originally planned might infringe a boundary, so planned to go flush sides and back. Then had the panic about battens being 'outside' the roof edge.

I've since re-measured with the slab formwork in place, and the 150mm overhang will work.

That's now the fixed plan!
