At times I can be ambitious, attempt things everyone says you need professionals for (well what can I say, I'm a man) and so there I was looking at an ugly brickwall at the side of one my industrial units.

Well whats the worst that could happen I thought so I purchased some metal cladding much like the stuff you see on trendy buildings and thought easy. Ill clad this wall (a very small section) to hide the cruddy brickwork and hang a sign up.

To cut a long story short I basically hadnt put the fixings in quite right and each component relies almost on each other to create a frame of high integrity, and well...we were were in the office and an almight crash resounded the estate.

Us and others from surrounding units all rushed out...and there was my sign...and my diy cladding, lying there woefully in tatters bent and mishapen!
