Hello.

I am currently in the process of having an extension designed.

The external finish will be white render with grey brick at the bottom, zinc and I am looking to add some wooden cladding.

I love the look of Western Red Cedar.

Have also been thinking about larch.

Any recommendations on wooden cladding... which has the best longevity / least maintenance.

Both the same for life, and care.

Larch tends to look like cheap pine with the grain and knots, whilst Cedar always looks premium and lovely.
