Clarke electric winch advice.........

Thinking of purchasing one of these , but before i visit machine mart, i just wondered if anyone had one, and would know if its possible to bolt these things to the floor. I know you need a girder or strong enough pole to clamp it to, but im wondering if would be possible to RAWLBOLT it to the floor through the four fixing holes on the red casing rather than uisng the clamp arrangement??

Cant see why not, you may need to take the motor housing apart to be able to screw the rawbolts in. Are they designed to work effectively on the ground though?
