Hi new to Forum but have a job coming up where I am cleaning a friends caravan roof, just wondered if anyone had any advice? I have heard Caravan roofs can be very fragile so need to be careful.

hey thanks thats cool and a pretty quick reply I was thinking of using a more traditional method, getting up on the roof and cleaning it :)

What kind of caravan? Static? Tourer? why not just use a brush and bucket of soapy water from the top of a ladder plus a hose to clean it down?

sounds good, its a tourer caravan just one time i saw a guy cleaning his he was up on the roof mind you it was summer thought i might try his technique?

For sure, I wouldn't climb on the roof for fear of dinting it.....if there's a lot of green mould / verdigris up there you'll be surprised how hard it sticks!
If there's any hand wash outlets near you, a good squirt of the traffic film remover, high pressure spray and the crap is gone.
John :)

yeah true, this guy was just in shorts and barefoot etc cud be kinda risky thanks for the heads up :D
