Hi all
Anyone got a Cleva Lawnmaster corded mower?
The problem with mine is that the collection box flap just refuses to sit flush with the collection box.
As a result, it constantly blows grass cuttings through the gap and all over me.
I've looked at it many times but just can't figure out a simple fix.
Anyone had this issue before?

Slime.

I have one but mine sits flush. If it's under warranty get in touch, they were really helpful with me. Is it the mulch type and you have the plastic mulch bit fitted?

Hi CountryFan
Thanks for the prompt response.
The problem is when I'm not using the mulch option so, therefore, the plastic mulch bit is removed.
I've been in touch with Cleva and they are extremely helpful .............................. to the point that, as they had none in stock, they gave me a full refund and said I could keep the mower!
It's just irritating that I get grass flying out through the gap between the flap and the grass collection box.

Yep, Tbf that’s what happened to me as my previous Bosch cut the grass at 20mm and was extremely short near on tearing the grass, the Cleva one once cut sometimes looks like it hasn’t been cut! Not sure what to suggest regards the grass collector.

Show us a picture so we can make suggestions; some smart innovators here will have plenty of ideas if they can see the problem, but may have no idea what a cleva lawn master looks like, nor can imagine exactly how yours is distorted and ill fitting

Is it not just a case of lifting the box at the back so the flap can go down over the black nib forward of the handle? Maybe a bit of debris built up and stopping full seating.

Make sure the plastic “tongue” is sat inside, the mulch piece can’t be left in place, once sat in and over the 2 hooks at the top then the orange flap should then sit nicely
