Does anyone know of a bathroom ceiling pull switch that is silent.

I cannot find one anywhere but would like help in finding one.

I doubt if you would find a silent one, they are double pole switches designed for a heavy current, the contacts have to close positively thats why they have a strong spring in the mechanism to achieve this, hence the noise.
Sorry for the assumption I thought you were referring to a shower isolation switch, if this is just a lighting switch then there must be silent switches available.

They all make a noise. Even the dimming one which tend to buzz.

However everything else in the bathroom makes noise too, including using the taps and flushing the loo. Removing a small click from a light switch won't achieve anything.

i searched about for one too, In my old flat the bathroom was right net to the babies room and it used to wake her up.

No joy though, so I just fitted low energy bulb and left it on all night.

If you find one though I would be interested to know which one. I bought about 5 different brands and found that the MK and the GET ones were the quietest.

Assuming your bathroom is on the top floor, instead of fixing the switch to the bathroom ceiling, try fixing it to the rafters in the loft, and lead the cord down through a hole in the ceiling. A plastic or metal bush in the hole would help stop the cord fretting the edges.
