climber advice

Hi,

I have put up a green cheap treless. Any recommendations for something that can grow up it quick, produce nice flowers and be planted in the same pot as something else and not need deep roots? Also, am i too late for something nice this year?

Thanks. I like the idea but the colour looks too close to the purple syringa in the garden. Something yellow or orange would be nice I think.

Black-Eyed Susan or Nasturtium.

Annual sweet peas are different colours, its only the "everlasting" type that are purple.
Honeysuckle is also good for that job but will need trimming to keep it under control.

Thanks, had a look at all of them and opted for the honeysuckle. I hope it grows, it looks quite flimsy at the moment and it's hot today!
