Cloakroom Power

That looks similar to what I've already got.

Filtered face plate from standard master socket with the house phones run from the filtered side and an external standard phone cable to the office where there's a separate splitter for phone and adsl.

I thought, perhaps wrongly from what people have said here that the infinity connection would have to be different.

You're not really meant to run VDSL away from the master socket (you shouldn't with any DSL technology, frankly. The goal should always be the shortest possible run).

If moving the socket isn't an option (seriously though, ask BT to move it. They can't reasonably supply your service in such a location.), you can put the modem in the cloakroom and run the power cable through from under the stairs. Smallest hole possible that way, no need to bring 240V inside the cloakroom at all. Then run ethernet either through into under the stairs and up from there or outside. The external option is relatively expensive.
