Clock Update

Just to start another stupid thread........... has the powers that be, not thought to update the forum clock to GMT

I think perhaps you mean to ask if the forum clock should be adjusted to BST.

On a serious note isn't it about time(scuse the pun) that we did away with GMT it is antiquated now as the astronomical basis that it is derived from is now inaccurate and the way forward in this day and age must be a standard based on atomic clocks, now that our everyday lives revolve around super accuracy GPS systems for one, with the next generation clocks now in development GPS will be accurate enough to land planes!
there are many many more applications where accurate time is needed so is it not time to let go of the old?
