Hi,
I would like to hang a clock above my bathroom door, but I don't want to have to drill into the tiles so I thought I could attach something to the ceiling above that would allow me to bring a hook down from it against the wall which would allow me to hang the clock from that. Does that make sense?

Anyway, does anyone know the best thing to use for that or am I just looking at hooks and string?

Thanks

Ninko

@HawkEye244, I can't damage the tiles as I live in a rented property.

@handyjack, That wouldn't work, see picture of the back of clock.

A very very small splodge of gripfill will hold the clock on the wall, just enough for you to take it off again if you want. Splodge can be scraped back to the tile without leaving any scuff marks if you are careful.

Self adhesive velcro strips?

Put two strips on the tile vertically, then put two strips on the back of the clock horizontally (noughts & crosses board style). This way the velcro won't mate too well and should ensure the velcro separates properly, rather than the glue failing when you take the clock down.

Gaz :)

If the grout lines are fairly wide , drill into the grout, not the tiles.
