I have the dreaded CC toilet which I know are notorious for leaving solids behind  .

Not very romantic if I have a lady visitor and she spots it  .

I have tried increasing the flush volume but still the problem remains. Any one know of anything I can try and would changing the flushing mechanism help?
:D

The six litre flush is often a problem.

I explain to users that the logic is that a small flush volume is adequate most of the time and that saves water. Occasionally a second flush is needed.

I always check that the flush has been successful and I dont see why you can not do the same.

Suggest they get on the laxatives - should'nt be a problem then

Otherwise:

Replace it - plenty of c**p pan designs out there.

The test standard if is complies is totally inadequate (and many imported pans aren't approved)

I have customers who've bought very expensive well known brands and they don't work.

A good test is to shove your hand down the pan and feel the profile - you'll get to know the better designs then.

I always do.

Problem is that after 2 flushes, there sometimes is a stubborn critter that refuses to do as he is told. :(

The profile of the bend in the base of the pan. Some are very restrictive - visit a bathroom showroom and see - although they might think you're a nutter.
