For the perfectionist- check screws holding cistern onto wall. Will definitely be rusty after about 15 years. Inspect and change before slot/crosshead disappears. When diaphragm needs renewal makes job a lot easier.

No can do - I've got my work cut out making sure that some paint dries evenly.

How many plumbers do this first time round? Not many I suspect.
Who knows? And what difference does it make how many?
