I'm at the moment replacing the ground floor cloakroom suite. The suite that I am ripping out is a low level wc, and I wanted to replace it with a Close coupled wc. Since the WC waste pipe goes out of the back of the WC and into the ground, the location of it would mean that a close coupled WC would not be able to sit up against the wall.

1. Is it possible to have a close coupled WC which does not rest up aginst a wall?

2. I saw a one of these flexible WC aste connectors whicb appear to be abit more forgiving. Are they any good or is it best to stick to the ridgid ones?

Thanks

I bought the extendable flexible connector from B&Q the other day cost £18 and then found basically the same thing in Wickes for £11. The Wickes connector is around 100mm longer in its' 'shortest' length but, in my case this was fine, so the B&Q item went back.

Sorry, but I can't remember the exact lengths of them off hand.
