Can anyone help me to connect a new P trap close coupled wc to a vertical soil pipe. Should have bought an S trap wc but could not find one to fit.
Problem is that although the centre of the soil trap is only 90mmfrom the wall the end of the spigot on the wc ends up close to the side of the soil pipe. If I use a 90deg multikwick connector it passes over the wc spiggot but hits the back of the wc itself before the wc is pushed fully into place. On most 90deg connectors the head projects out by 75mm from the side of the pipe but if I could find one which projects out by 55mm it would work but this does not seem to exist ?
If I try a Swan neck/? connector the spiggot does not reach into the head of the connector and the bend in the connector also interfers with the wall behind the waste pipe.
I'm kicking myself now as it was all a bit close when I measured it out but thought I could sort it with some combination of connectors ! Looking at other postings on here this seems a common problem.
Any ideas ?
