Coil spring compressors choice

This offering from Sealey is a good price , has anyone got a set?

My compressor set are simply too short for some jobs.

I prefer the second one - I can use my impact gun on it, much quicker!

The dual hook system is good on the Sealey - I have a similar set but don't know the make.
The hooks are also inclined to suit the spiral of the spring, unlike some which can slip down the coil.
I'd go for them, but on some vehicles (French mostly) you do need 3.
These are too big to do coil overs such as those on the early Mazda MX5 unfortunately - you need bike ones for those.

recently had to put my dads 2005 Mercedes c180k in to a local garage as we were unable to compress the front springs enough with our kit, including the machine mart stand mount one above.

Have been doing Picanto front struts this past week and the compressors I have couldn't quite manage the job so a quick trip to the local Screwfix for this pair. They work but they sure take a lot of winding with only one claw on a thread. With my old set both claws are threaded and opposite so take no time at all to wind in and out.
