Can any-one help me. I have an downstairs loo with a concrete floor. I have tried carpet as the floor is too cold. Unfortunately have boys so the odour is getting bad. Is there any solution to putting in a vinyl floor that will not be cold. Small space and under floor heating has been quoted at £900
Any cheaper solutions?

Get yourself a little plastic or rubber duck.

Seriously , a friend of mine had a similar problem and popped in the little duck for the lads to aim at . It worked and it won't flush away either. Just have to get them to use the upstairs loo for longer visits maybe.

On a more serious level, have you had more than one quote for the under floor heating because it is a lot cheaper to buy than people think...

A competant DIY'er can even install this so worth looking at.
