in our bedroom our bed and wardrobes, one on each side of the bed, are against two outer cavity walls. the space between the wardrobes has a fitted headboard which slides behind the wardrobes but has clear wall 650mm above and below
its a bit colder than we would like when touching the walls but no dampness or mould anywhere in that area, there is a central heating radiator, but it isn't on overnight
there is a gap between the wardrobes and the walls of 10mm due to the skirting boards being still in place.
i can see i may be able to slip an insulating board up the side of the wardrobes and along the backs and then do the spaces between the beds.
a recommendation or any advice on how to tackle this condition would be appreciated.
