put a hose on your kitchen tap and fix it to a cold tap fed from the storage tank. open both taps this needs 2 or more people 1 to watch in the loft and shout if the storage tank starts to fill 1 or more to operate the taps the mains pressure should blow the air back through the system to th storage tank. repeat this at all cold taps fed from the cold water storage cistern
