hi, i have a problem with the cold water flow from the storage tank as its virtually non existant, the problem arose after i drained the system to do some work and when i refilled the system i had air locks in the hot water but the cold was working well with loads of flow so then i removed the air lock from the hot water side by swapping the washing machine connectors over using the mains cold pressue to blow it out, then once everything had settled i opened the cold tap upstairs and there was hardly any flow..!!! please help any ideas welcome

i'd have a look at the cistern in the loft to make sure nothing obstructing the feed in the bottom of the tank....

could be an airlock i guess...its gravity fed to ur tap so could be,,,

is it the one over the bath ?

its the bath and the basin and the cloakroon downstairs it came about as i had to drain system and then when i refilled it i had no hot water flow at all but the cold water flow was fine so i drained the system again and when refilled i got rid of the air lock out of the hot side then when i turn the basin tap on there was no pressure there so checked the other cold taps from the storage tank and they were the same, yes i agree it does sound like an air lock but whats the best way to get rid of it on the cold water side, i checked the tank and theres no blockage....
