Cold Water Chiller

Hi

I might not be in the corrcet section but if any one can help please do so!!

I am looking for some possiblities to help rectify problems that would cause a high pressure switch on a compressor to activate.

I have little knowledge of cold water chillers but any tips on where to start would be apperciated.

Hi,

causes for hp trip are:

Condensor fan motor not working
Condensor blocked with dust
air in the system, or water due to burst evaporator
blockage in the refrigeration system.

what gas are you operating on, and can you get the pressure readings.

Sorry for the delay i have added your options and answered as best as my refrigeration knowledge can

Condensor fan motor not working------ x3 fans come on
Condensor blocked with dust ----- No its very clean
air in the system, or water due to burst evaporator --- I can't find a burst and the pressure gauge reads fine

blockage in the refrigeration system --- We have enough anto freeze to go as low as -15 so hopefully this is ok

what gas are you operating on, and can you get the pressure readings. ------------- R404
