cold water trickle from shower pump

hi replaced my shower pump, hot water runs fine out of shower, but I only get a trickle of cold water, I've had the shower head off to bleed it but makes no difference, everything is the same as the other pump, same fittings and everything, any ideas

Blocked inlet filter in the shower? Or a stuck non-return valve? Possibly even a faulty shower unit

it sounds to me that the pump does not seem to be working, before it made quite a noise when in use but now, the pump just makes the minutest noise

They shouldn't be noisy generally, noise often indicates air in the pump, which is bad and will kill it fairly quickly

Air lock? Try running the cold water with the pump switched off.
