The first house we bought had a white tiled bathroom, and I decided I fancied blue grouting in the tiles in the shower - I dont know why , just one of those bright ideas you get on a full moon.
The old man kept putting it off, so I said the ultimately stupid thing - " I can do it myself ".
Being on the short side I couldnt reach the top tiles without getting into the shower, so I got inside it barefoot - and of course the dark blue grouting was falling into the shower tray. Couple of hours later the tiles looked great and the blue grout really looked good, but all that was beaten into second place by my blue feet.
I never won a DIY argument after that .....
