need to paint my front door and am wondering what the current on trend colours are. I would like something modern, but mot primer grey. I am also a muppet when it comes to colours so wondered what the pros are finding the most common.

Don't just go for 'the most common'!
Go for something which complements the age, materials and style of your house. Also bear in mind the colours of neighbouring doors - try not to clash with them.
If you give us a brief description of the front of the building (or a photo, even better), we can perhaps suggest something which would look good.
I am going o put up a photo, but the door is still in white primer and not in place. Still it will be interesting to see some opinions.
