combi boiler - no hw but ch working??

I replaced one last week but it took well over an hour even though right hand side access was good.
Most of the problem was because the last idiot had fitted a recon unit in 2007 but had used boss wight on the joints and it had hardened and made them a problem to get apart.
I always expect them to take at least an hour though.
