Help.......... salus RT500rf 2 year old all of a sudden when control panel shows temp for boiler to come on, the receiver accepts this and boiler comes on. But when the control panel reaches the set temp , the firing icon on the control panel goes off but the receiver light stays on green and the boiler stays on

That sounds like a normal situation for when the boiler reaches the set flow temperaure.

It would then come back on firing after 10-20 minutes when more heat is required.

Why do you think there is anything wrong?

Tony, say its set at 18 degrees the boiler does not switch off when it reaches this temp it carries firing eventhough it reches 23 degrees + have to swith off manualy

Are you talking about the boiler control panel or the room stat display?

If the latter then how old are the stat batteries and what type and make are they?

Others seem to have had more problems than one would have expected from these stats. Perhaps because I address the battery issue I have not yet had any problems with them.
