alpha boiler with salus rt500rf help

ive recently had a alpha intec24x boiler fitted and the plumber put on a salus remote control unit. the last few nights the salus receiver seems to be running on its own, i.e. the reciever has a constant green light and the boiler is burning away even though the salus remote control is reading 5+ degrees higher than the set temp and theres no heat call icon lit up. ive set the programmer easy enough on a 5 2 setting. ive had to turn the reciever off at times because the house is getting so hot and when i switch the reciever back on it goes to green straight away and the boiler fires up again,even though theres still no heat call/flame on the remote control box. any ideas?

I suggest you get the plumber back in case he has connected a wire wrongly, he should be more familiar with it also.
