hi there hope you can help. i have an ariston eurocombi boiler.yesterday i replaced a radiator and all worked fine.today i replaced one of the radiator valves as it would not reseal properly.i turned off the boiler and water and had to drain the pipe to the lockshield pipe.now i have no leaks but now the boiler will not reignite.i assume this is a problem with draining or refilling the system or an airlock.any ideas please

Look for an air releasevalve inside the boiler probably near the pump. Plastic screwy thing same as a car tyre valve cap usually, sometimes small T section. It should be LOOSE, and shouldn't leak water.
There were 17 different Eurocombis!

 thanks to bahco and chris r for your helpful replies.it seems like a ropey switch/sensor to do with the extactor/ flue fan which was telling the boiler that it was already lit.i switched the boiler off then removed the boiler front and administered several firm blows to the top left of the boiler which when i restarted the boiler it ignited first time.it is stopping and reigniting randomly but seems to be improving.i have since replaced another radiator and things seem ok.Once again many thanks for your time. :D

regards sprocketman

Hmm, if it does it again, change another radiator and it might get better :?
