combi boiler problems

I have a combi bolier, I can get hot water but cannot get any heating. The pressure gauge reads between 1-2. What can the problem be??

problem is what can the boiler be like make /model for a start

Perhaps you just have not set the timeclock or room stat correctly to provide heating with this mystery make of boiler.

It is an isar, ideal boiler HE 24, room thermostat is all set up. The boiler ignites when heating is switched on, just doesn't give any heat.

check the pump is running
if it ignites there is heat going somewhere

If it heats up for about 20 seconds and then repeats the cycle every 15 minutes or so then the diverter valve has jammed in the DHW position.
