Hi,
I need to replace the hot water tap in my bathroom. It is fed from a combi boiler. Obviously I need to turn of the cold water feed coming into the house, but knowing very little about boilers, I'm a little bit concerned about getting an air lock in the system when I turn the water back on.
Am I worrying about nothing, or is there a way of doing it to avoid an air lock?

No need to worry, you won't get an air lock doing that :D

You are worrying about nothing. You can also turn off the cold supply to the combi on the inlet pipe underneath. It doesn't matter much where you turn it of really.
