This year I have had my old central heating boiler replaced with a Baxi combi.

Now when I go abroad on holiday in the winter months I leave the central heating on low room stat setting for 24hrs a day.

Can I now turn off the water at the house stop cock for added protection because I no longer have a expansion/header tank in the loft.

On a similar topic if the pressure in the system did at anytime drop too low does the boiler cut off.
