The pressure gauge on my boiler is reading above 3bar and water is coming out through expansion pipe outside. This is causing further problems inside my house as the outer wall is constantly wet. Any advise would be appreciated.[/b]

Only 2 reasons for overpressurising chrishutt stated 1 the other is dependant on model of boiler. If you have a twin pass heat exchanger this has failed if you have a secondary heat exchanger then that will need changing
