Hi,

Newly installed Worcester Bosch 38cdi combi boiler.

I have the condensate pipe, and pressure relief pipes to connect to a drain. By chance, there is the end of a 110mm soil pipe in almost exactly the right place. My plumber has connected a single 40mm drain to take both the condensate and pressure relief valves, but with an air gap, and no 'trap' to stop odours from the soil pipe.

Could this be routed through a trap? (Should it be?) All this is inside my garage.

Thanks.

He is registered.

He's also 'taken' my copper hot water tank. Long story, but whilst he's left loads of other stuff (for me to remove and scrap) - the redundant hot water tank has gone. He isn't taking the header tank from the loft, that's down to me!
