hi there ithis is my first time on here so please bear with me. I am putting a combi boiler in a cupboard that is proving impossible to get the pipes into the only way i can lay the pipes is by burying them in a concrete floor for a distance of about 7 feet ,would this be acceptable,also is there a minimum depth that i should consider .thanks in advance...tony

what if I lay ducting in the concrete and then slide the pipes through. I am having it fitted but i need to get the pipes through this obstacle.
You've got the right idea, but when it comes to the gas pipe there are all sorts of regulations about what can and cannot be done (with ducting for example) so this should be done at least under supervision of Corgi reg. guy.
If the boiler's that near the floor it's quite lkely that there will be some repairs which will be impossible, whether under guarantee or not. It will need VERY low drain points!
A Corgi shouldn't install it if it's in breach of the manufacturer's instructions on clearances. Now we're likely to get random inspections on our installations it isn't worth the risk.
