Compare noise on kitchen extractor hoods

I am trying to compare the noise output (db) of kitchen hoods but I cannot find any useful sites that provide the required info, costs etc. Any suggestions. I want a 90cm hood, possibly curved, with low noise output at a sensible price.

Perhaps I am expecting too much but hoped there was a site with click and compare functions.

Cant’ help with the noise comparisons but you should also factor extract performance into the equation. Chances are a nice quiet hood at a cheap price is going to do little more than look good over your cooker, meeting only the minimum extract rate required by Building Regs. if that!

If you do any serious cooking, you will need the option of a high extract rate, twin fans are best. A decent extract hood won’t be cheap & will be fairly noisy on the highest settings but you don’t always need to run them flat out.
