Compatible fitting, please help.

Hi I’ve got speed fitting 15mm pipe with super seal speed insert both same brand. Although an internal old pipe fitting that’s pretty hard to get to is a Hepworth fitting. The part that’s attached in the picture is spare fittings I had. Seems to go all the way in without a struggle and the pipe insert rubber seal sits behind the fittings rubber seal. Will this be a compatible fitting. Waters on and no leaks. Any help would be great

You have to use matching inserts and fittings.
Don't mixed and match.
Not sure that's what you are asking?

Is it ok to use this connection as a temorory fix as the grey pipe connection is in a difficult part of the wall to replace. Thanks

I agree with Denso, inserts are brand specific, OD is standardised.

Should be unproblematic.

Yes - as suggested - all pipe should be a standard OD, so fittings are interchangeable.

It's the ID that tends not to be the same, therefore always best to match inserts to pipe.

Insert to new piece of white pipe are same brand with the double o rings on them. But seemed to fit fully into the existing older grey fitting like in pic.

This should be a sound fitting?
