I've installed some bedroom furniture and now I want to add MFC plinths. The run has both internal and external corners, the internal corners being at 90 degrees and at 45 degrees (for a corner unit).

How are these joints usually made (butt or mitre)?

If mitred should they be glued if possible?

Fitting will be to furniture legs using the usual clip arrangement.

Correction: that's 90 degrees and 135 degrees, not 90 degrees and 45 degrees.

Assuming they are clip on plints then let the two straight lengths run under teh corner unit by say 100mm. Cut the ends of the piece that goes across the corner unit at 45 deg each end and then it will snap into place, thring to cut them all at 22.5 deg like you would with skirting does not work.
