Composite vs slate roof tiles

Natural slate approx double the price depending on grade of slate etc. Better than "Man-Made" slates by far, sometimes you pay for what you get.
By composite do you mean fibre cement or reconstituted (resin, natural slate mix)?
For fibre slate as above, recon slates aren't much cheaper than natural in material cost and can be more expensive dependant on the natural slate you are comparing but the labour element is less (the natural slates still look better though and last longer)
