I hope this is the right forum but I would like if possible some help or advice on what I want to do.
My computer monitor which is only a couple of years old has the following problem .The small on off button on the underside has come apart and now the only way I can switch it off is to keep unplugging it and wondered if the this idea is possible and safe .
I was thinking of fixing an inline rocker style switch in the monitor power lead to use instead of keep unplugging it .
Can I do this? On the back of monitor says its 100 watts and if so what sort of switch should I get.
Many thanks in advance
